- Thimbleberries Quilt Club 2008 First Thursday of each month, 9:30am or 6:00pm, or the second Saturday each month at 9:30am!
- "Holiday Chorus" BOM! A 4 month program, starts in July. Sign up today, you can have your project completed for the Holiday Season!
- July 14 - 19 Annual Sample Sale! Tablerunners to bed size quilts. Some finished, and some in need of a loving quilter's hand. Many samples to choose from, shop early for best selection.
- July 17 18 - 19 Yard Sale! Hundreds of one yard cuts of fabric (Pre Cut) for only $5.50 each! We also will have our rolled sale fat quarters marked even lower - 4 fats for $5.00! Shop Early for best selection.
- July 21 - 26 "Christmas in July Celebration". Stop in for the unveiling of our spectacular Holiday fabrics. Demos, Drawings, Prizes, and refreshments!
- Jo Morton's Little Women's Club! Starts Sept 18th or Sept 20th at 9:30am. A 6 month program meeting the 3rd Thursday or 3rd Saturday each month. An olde fashioned gathering making olde looking quilts. Join the club for a step back in time!
- "Falling Leaves" Shop Hop October1st - 4th! More Shops, More Prizes, More Excitement!
- October 10 & 11 AQS Quilt Show, Des Moines, Iowa Bus trip! First time in Des Moines!

The Calico Shoppe offers “FREE” parking in the ramp, directly across the street, for all our customers. Remember to bring your parking stub with you so we can validate it.
