1 Million Pillowcase Challenge 2010! We have joined with American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine to help them collect 1 million pillowcases! June 30th was the deadline to turn your pillowcases in at The Calico Shoppe! Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference!

- Annual Quilt Sample Sale! August 9th - 14th Many samples to choose from, table runners to bed size quilts. Some finished, and some in need of a loving quilter's hands to finish them.
- SUMMERFEST August 14th Downtown Eau Claire. Music , Food, Kids games, and more! Fun for the whole family!
- Annual Falling Leaves Shop Hop! Mark your calendars now. September 25 - October 2. Nine shops, great prizes, and featuring our custom shop hop quilt!
- 3rd annual AQS Quilt Show, Des Moines IA. October 8th & 9th Bus Trip. Hop on the bus for two fun filled days with fellow quilters. $150 Double Occ, triples and quads available! Departing from The Calico Shoppe, with one additional pick-up stop in Owatonna, Mn.
- Annual Fall Retreat at St Bede's center in Eau Claire. We will again have two sessions to try to accommodate as many people as possible. November 9, 10 & 11 or November 12, 13 & 14.
- "Retreat on Wheels" We had so much fun last year, we're doing it again. Two days of fun at six great quilt shops. November 20th & 21st, ONLY $79 double occ, triples, and quads available.
- Thimbleberries Club 2010 is in progress, Patterns exclusive to club, and much, much more! Meets 9:30am first Thursday or 2nd Saturday, or 6:00pm first Thursday.
- Civil War Club. "Civil War Tribute" BOM (100 x 112) Meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 9:30am! Can't make the meeting? You can come in each month to pick up your kit!
- Rug Hookers! Join the fun, stop in the fourth Friday of each month and spend some time hooking. Due to Memorial day weekend, we will be meeting May 21st. Our classroom is open to all, beginners to advanced. We begin at 9:30am till ?????

The Calico Shoppe offers “FREE” parking in the ramp, directly across the street, for all our customers. New this Summer... the Parking Ramp is going automated! The process will change, so just tell us you're in the ramp and we will stamp your ticket, or give you a free exit ticket!
